The man who was shot in Edmonds, Wa on 7 Sep 2013 has been identified as Aaron K. Eckley. According to the Edmonds Patch, "During the incident, police say Eckley was verbally defiant when told to lower his weapon and at one point leveled it at officers." According to witnesses, Eckley was not threatening anyone who called 911 prior to being shot by the Police.
